Project Description
A derelict property EnerPHit refurbished to establish a new urban crofting community hub with growing spaces and a market garden. The new centre includes two meeting rooms, a café, a commercial kitchen and new office spaces in the converted former attic.
We removed much of the existing internal structure, lowered the old attic floor and added a staircase to serve the new offices.
The new rear extension features large sliding glazed doors for fair weather integration of internal and external spaces. New heavily insulated wall linings and green energy MEP services make the hub not just fit-for-purpose but hugely energy efficient – a key Customer ethos and project requirement.
