Project Description
The project upgrade and refurbishment for the café improvements and new kitchen carvery and seating area enhancements encompassed several key areas of work. On the roof, new clay pan tiles, lead works, and Velux windows were installed, along with alterations to the rainwater goods. External enhancements included the installation of aluminium windows, doors, screens, and the fitting of stone lintels and quoins.
Significant upgrades were made to the facilities, with the installation of Changing Place toilets, WC cubicles, and panels, as well as alterations to the plumbing and drainage systems. The electrical systems were also overhauled, including new lighting, electric heating, power supplies, and various alarm systems.
Inside, the retail units insulated plasterboard ceilings were fitted, existing walls were modified, and new timber doors complete with ironmongery were installed. Flooring improvements included laying concrete and vinyl. Additionally, the space was redecorated. Furthermore, a new bird viewing platform was constructed as part of the project.
