Giraffe House at Edinburgh Zoo
Edinburgh Zoological Society of Scotland
Value: £1,925,000
Project Description
We specifically constructed a state-of-the-art giraffe habitat, combining strong concrete walls, a robust steel frame, streamlined aluminium cladding, and heavy-duty fencing. The structure soared to colossal heights, providing ample space for our long-necked residents.
Inside, elevated viewing galleries allowed visitors to observe the giraffes comfortably, while outside, a spacious paddock ensured ease of movement for these majestic creatures. Our design prioritised their well-being, facilitating feeding, rest, and care.
By Prioritising the wellbeing of the giraffes, enhancing visitor experience, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, and facilitating efficient logistical coordination. The habitat not only provides a safe and comfortable environment for giraffes but also educates and engages visitors, supporting conservation efforts and promoting awareness about these majestic creatures. Through meticulous design and construction, the project achieved a balance of functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal, exemplifying a commitment to excellence in animal habitat construction.
