Project Description
The project at Eyemouth Parish Church encompassed a comprehensive 16-week renovation and extension endeavour. Internal and external alterations were undertaken, focusing on enhancing both functionality and accessibility.
Underfloor heating was installed in the main hall to make this more comfortable for the congregation and more efficient. The entry vestibule underwent a complete reconfiguration to optimise its layout and usability. The project also included the installation of a fire detection system to bolster safety measures within the church premises.
New lighting solutions were implemented throughout to create a more welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, external modifications included the construction of a new main entrance incorporating a disabled ramp to facilitate access for individuals with disabilities. Inside, a new disabled toilet facility was added to better accommodate the needs of parishioners and visitors. Particular attention to joinery and stonework ensured that all new additions harmonised seamlessly with the existing architectural elements of Eyemouth Parish Church.
